This page is updated on a regular basis and chronicles projects undertaken by TeKnow.
January - March 2006
TeKnow continued to assist Light House. We installed a wireless network in the Lock Works Bar in the Chubb Buildings. This is open access and available to the general public. We have supported the University of Wolverhampton, installing printers and connecting University students to the Light House network.
Broadway Kitchens asked us to health check their desktop machines across the company which resulted in security and virus protection being introduced.
Light House approached us about enabling remote access to their network, which now means that staff can access email and even log into their desktop PC from home!
April - May 2006
We revised the antivirus and backup procedures at Light House. This annual task has resulted in an automated backup solution which requires no user intervention. TeKnow monitor the backups and general system performance remotely on a weekly basis - adding to our relationship with Light House.
TeKnow decided to relocate to the PLOT office at The Chubb Buildings, Fryer Street, Wolverhampton. We look forward to strengthening our partnership with Light House and meeting other companies within the buildings in due course.
